  3. Seriously thought I was at the wrong gym this morning. Not only were their 9 people but twice as many guys. I think that is a double record if not close. It was great to have. Deryk back after his awesome jv basketball season. To his dismay in Sams words "we have a lot of work to do." Welcome back! What a combo is all I have to say. Bench 3x70 3x80 3x85. (Both deryk and I). Lori 12:52 and deryk 13:12. He said it is a big difference between a 29.5 oz baskball and a 14 lb wall ball :)

  4. I did the Masters WOD #5 today: Walk 400 meters carrying two 35# dumbbells. Every 10 meters do a thruster with the dumbbells. Quite a challenging work out--a grip killer. I had cramps in my hands when I was done. Pretty fun though! Maybe Sam and Parker will introduce everyone else to this work out sometime in the future!

  12. Dean! You beat me by almost two full minutes! My time was 9:24. Either I am a wuss or you are a mega stud. Or both. Well done! Next time though: head to head.

  13. 11:22, that was a real challenge. Good job to all those 9's and under--you're fast!! Bench press 75X3, 85X3, 95X2 (with some spotting, actually a lot of spotting--thanks, Parker). Felt good to push my shoulder a bit after so long.
