  2. This VO2 max test is an estimation. VO2 is based on many factors/age, weight, muscle volume, training.
There are many ways to test VO2, running, rowing, swimming all can be used to test it.
This test uses the rower, so one factor that effects your VO2 estimation is your technique and efficiency on the rower. The better it is the faster you will be and the better VO2 number you will get.
This is meant as a little test, not a true test of your fitness level/ability.

  3. 10:16 scored a "fair" when all my numbers were put into the computer; senior discount doesn't get you much these days.

  5. I was pleasantly surprised by my row: 7:53.7. Nearly 30 seconds faster than my last 2K row. Of course, I couldn't walk afterwards on my rubber legs! My new goal is to try to catch the Fire Chief, who rowed a 7:38. Of course that was a couple of months ago. He may be even faster now. The beast.

  6. I took a rest day of sorts. My body's has been feeling pretty wrecked so I just did a 20min jumprope sesh and gave the rest of my body the day off.
