  2. I am leaving town today to attend my son's graduation from the U. of Utah, so I won't be in today or tomorrow. I will miss you guys!
    Since I won't be there, I will leave some good medical advice for those of you very sore from yesterday's work out:
    1. Ice the sore muscles a couple of times today for 15 minutes.
    2. Drink lots of fluid--enough so that your urine is very pale.
    3. Roll those sore muscles on the foam roller or the torture ball for at least 2 minutes today.
    4. "Pain is weakness leaving your body!"

  4. Jen. I can't remember the last time I was this sore. Right there with ya. 15:14 (red band) Last 400 I felt like I was oozing molasses. Running but not going anywhere.

    I like Em's suggestion of a Paleo BBQ!!! WE should do it!

  5. Thanks for the advice DOC! I love the quote! That is going to be my motto for the rest of my life! I thought today would be a 'little' easier since yesterday was a killer but OF COURSE I thought wrong! Yesterday I did my very first pull-up without any bands...and today I did handstand push-ups! Last time I tried to do handstand push-ups I had to do them on the floor...it was kinda ridiculous! I've never done a WOD with Courtney before and today her and I were neck and neck throughout the whole WOD until she kicked my trash on the last 400 M! She is UNREAL!! Great job COURT and everyone else in the 1130 class! I am now going to attempt to shower and get dressed...oh give me strength!:)

    In addition to the good advice from Doc, your friendly pharmacist would recommend a big dose of high quality fish oil to combat the inflammation and soreness induced by yesterday's walk in the park. I've become a believer.
